The objective of the Power and Propulsion research program is to deliver energy and cost efficiency and improved competitive performance in advanced rail manufacturing. This will be achieved through research, development and commercialisation in the following fields – Energy Regeneration and Storage, Advanced Braking Systems, and Electronic Motors and Systems.
