We’re working to foster, sponsor and direct collaborative research and commercialisation partnerships in rail manufacturing.
Formed in 2014 and operating for six years, our participant organisations include innovative rail manufacturing multinationals, innovative SMEs and key research providers.

The Australian Government’s Cooperative Research Centres Program
Funding for the Rail Manufacturing CRC (of up to $100m of cash and in-kind contributions) is provided by its member participants and the Australian Federal Government through the Business Cooperative Research Centres Program.
The CRC program supports industry led end-user driven research collaborations to address the major challenges facing Australia – with Cooperative Research Centres operating across all sectors of Australia’s economy and society.
